Coach's 2009....

The Beaconsfield Football Club is pleased to announce the following coach's for the upcoming 2009 Season.

• Seniors - Rob Taylor
• Reserves - Scott Mather
Scott has played the past 2 seasons at our club where he has won the Reserves Best & Fairest on both occasions. His leadership on and off the field will only assist in the Reserves side finally taking that next step.
• Under 18s - Rod Allan
Rod was involved with the Under 18s last year as an Assistant Coach. He has a strong family history with the club and will be looking to further develop the talented youngsters coming through to take the step up to Senior Football.

Pre Season training is scheduled to begin on the 10th of December. Players will be notified prior to this date with times.

Beaconsfield FC Golf Day....

The 2008 Beaconsfield FC Golf Day will this year be held at Beaconhills Country Club in Upper Beaconsfield.

Annual General Meeting 2008....

The 2008 Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday 29th of October at the Beaconsfield Club Rooms. The 2008 Committee reported that the 2008 season was a strong and improving year for the club both on and off the field. Congratulations to Terry Lock who has been voted in as President for a third term.

Glenn Stacey awarded Life Membership....

Congratulations to Glen "Podge" Stacey who was awarded Life Membership on Friday night. Podge started his time with the Beaconsfield Football Club in the under 10s in the mid 70's and has continued through to play over 250 games for the club along the way Captaining the Reserves to multiple Premierships and doing a mountain of work around the place. In 2008 Podge was the runner for the Under 18s. Podge was presented with his life membership by Laurie Canning.
